That’s right.
We all love money because it makes living easier.
Yet, it’s oftentimes frowned upon to want to have a lot more money. “It’s so enabling to capitalism!”
What if you want more money so you could comfortably enjoy minimalistic living?
What if you hustled yourself from nothing to middle class or higher? Good for you!
Why stop there, right?
When I turned one, my mother placed a tray in front of me.
According to her, it was a Chinese tradition that they do. And now we were going to do it in an ex-Soviet bloc, too.
On the tray were a few symbolic items:
- A work tool
- A pen
- Money
- A colorful toy
- Something else I don’t remember
She said, I grabbed the bill so fast, she could barely see it. Then took her a good minute to take it from my clenched fist.
It’s been thirty-something years since and not much changed!
